- Place the beef in the crockpot (not turned on yet) and toss it with the salt, pepper, paprika, and flour until it's evenly coated.
- Put everything else in the crockpot and stir it.
- Cover and cook on high for 5--7 hours or on low for 7--9 hours.
- Remove the bay leaf and serve.
